Introduction
The CAIPS Retriever (We, Us, Our) provides the Service to You, any individual
person, entity and/or any agency acting on their behalf, who shall be bound by the terms of this Agreement. We provide the
Service subject to the following Terms of Service (TOS), which We may update from time to time without notice to You.

Please note that other services, outside of the CAIPS Retriever are governed by their respective Terms of Service.
Read carefully these TOS before ordering. By ordering our services, you indicate that you accept these TOS. If you do not accept these TOS, do not order our services.

No resale of Service
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service.
Modifications of Service
We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that We shall not be liable to You or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

We may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other World Wide Web sites or resources. Because We have no control over such Web sites and resources, You acknowledge and agree that We are not responsible for the availability of such external Web sites or resources, and that We do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such Web sites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that We shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such Web site or resource.
Disclaimer of warranties
You expressly understand and agree that:
- We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied.
- We make no warranty that (i) the service will meet your requirements; (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable; (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by You through the Service will meet your expectations; and (v) any errors in the service will be corrected.
- Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Service is done at Your own discretion and risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material.
- No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by You from Us or through or from the Service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the TOS.
Limitation of liability
We shall not be liable for any amount exceeding the total portion of the Service price actually paid by You for the deliverable at issue. In no event shall either party be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including lost savings, profit or business interruption even if notified in advance of such possibility) arising out of or pertaining to the subject matter of this Agreement.
Payment
You agree to pay all applicable charges under this Agreement, including any applicable taxes or charges imposed by any government entity. If You dispute any charge, You must notify Us in writing within thirty (30) days of the purchase. After thirty days, all charges are final.
Refunds*
Refunds will not be issued if CIC denies your request because you made concurrent requests from multiple sources.
CAIPS Standard service:
- Before we mail the request to CIC: Full refund;
- After we mail the request to CIC: No refund will be considered.
CAIPS Interpretation service:
- Before we start to interpret Your file: Full refund;
- After we start to interpret Your file: No refund will be considered.
CAIPS Professional service:
- Before we mail the request to CIC: Full refund;
- After we mail the request to CIC but before we start to interpret Your file: Partial refund (US$50);
- After we start to interpret Your file: No refund will be considered.
*Notes: Any transaction fee incurred to process a payment may not be refunded. Any transaction fee incurred to process a refund may be deducted.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be adjudicated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
